Robins Bush Foods have combined the unique flavours of Australian native foods with the best local ingredients and classic cooking techniques to create exciting and delicious range of truly Australian condiments and sauces.

Our native fruits, herbs and seeds are sourced from the extremes of arid dessert, lush tropical rainforests, and alpine high country to the hinterland. Through Robins Foods supply chain Aboriginal communities harvest many of our ingredients from the wild in the traditional manner. Our native food ingredients are also grown naturally in permaculture and/or organic farming systems.

Jams & Conserves

 

Wild Rosella Jam

A tart jam with plum, raspberry & rhubarb characteristics. Use as a traditional spread on toast, muffins or scones and in cake and slice fillings. Also delicious added to pan juices after roasting lamb!

 
 

Kakadu Plum Jelly

This is a delicately flavoured sweet jelly with light citrus and honey accents. Use as a jam and make an interesting crepe or pancake filling with Kakadu Plum Jelly and ricotta cheese. Also delicious melted in pan juices with duck, quail or pork.

Bush Tomato Chutney

Robins Bush Tomato Chutney is piquant and spicy and made from bush tomatoes that grow wild in Australia’s arid centre. The bush tomatoes are sun-dried on the bush and are hand harvested by Aboriginal women in the traditional manner. Perfect with beef, kangaroo and sharp cheeses such as aged cheddar, goats or sheep’s milk cheeses. Great as flavouring for casseroles, as a pizza base or in a pasta sauce. Makes a ham sandwich something special!

   
   

Lemon Aspen & Raspberry Relish

A delightfully tart relish that is ideally suited to poultry, pork, fish and seafood. Add to
marinades or rub over meats before roasting. Delicious accompaniment to pates, terrines

Mango & Native Mint Salsa

Native mint is a Southern herb plant with a minty flavour and a distinctive aromatic finish. This salsa is a perfect partnership of mango and native mint, the sweetness of the mango balanced by the aromatic fresh mint flavour. Use hot or cold with duck, chicken, pork or lamb. Try it with seafood and salads. Easily added to pan juices for an instant sauce. A great side dish for curries. Mix with yoghurt for a refreshing dip.

   
   

Wild Rosella & Chilli Salsa

A spicy tart salsa to serve with almost anything! Chicken, lamb,pork, veal, ham, prosciutto, emu and kangaroo are all suited to this salsa. Serve hot or cold with grilled fish or prawns. Delicious accompaniment to pates, terrines and smoked meats. Try tossing through pasta or use in stir fry cooking. Add to marinades. Kakadu Plum & Chilli Sauce

This sauce highlights the rich flavour of the kakadu plum and adds the interest of chilli without overwhelming the natural flavour of the fruit. A popular sauce to serve with seafood, poultry and also ideal with shellfish. It makes a wonderful dipping sauce. Perfect to add to stir fry dishes too.

   
   

Bush Tomato Sauce

The ultimate Australian tomato sauce! Serve with pies of course! Great with chicken and steak, just heat through with pan juices. A must for every BBQ. Add fresh herbs and toss through pasta. Use as a delicious pizza base.

   
   

Wild Pepper BBQ Sauce

Fantastic BBQ sauce with the zing of native pepper and the freshness of lemon myrtle. Use as a sauce or great as a base for marinades. Suitable for meat, fish and poultry! Marinade chicken wings and bake in a hot oven for summer entertaining.

   
   

Wattleseed Butterscotch Sauce

Deliciously “gooey” caramel butterscotch based sauce with a rich wattleseed flavour! Fantastic over hot puddings, including Christmas pudding, or pour over ice cream. Fold through whipped cream to fill a pavlova. Caramelize banana's in a pan and add Wattleseed Butterscotch sauce for an easy ideal desert.
